Preserving egg quality and prolonging laying after peak production in long cycles are among the main challenges in current egg production. Layers progressively lose their ability to absorb calcium in the intestine and to mobilize calcium from the bones as they grow old. This results in an increase in cracked and broken eggs, reduced production, and increased mortality.
Panbonis® is a 100% natural supplement that contains 1,25(OH)2D3, the active form of vitamin D, which increases intestinal absorption, prolonging laying period and increasing eggshell quality (i.e. more sellable eggs).
In sows, the effect of Panbonis® on calcium absorption improves production parameters, reducing farrowing time, piglet mortality at farrowing, and weaning mortality.
